Volkswagen wanted to push sales of their Jetta in Singapore – a small car with an engine with punch. We realized that the proposition had to revolve around how although this car looks small it packs a surprisingly powerful punch.
The idea was that since it’s surprisingly fast, the dreaded Dengue carrying mosquito would have a hard time judging it’s speed. Hence the creatives didn’t show the car itself but rather 3d rendered mosquitos caught by surprise as they are hitting the windscreen.
This delivered the briefed in message but as an added bonus it also said – do your part in fighting Dengue with Volkswagen Jetta.
